Uniform

Uniform items are available to purchase from the on-line Scout Shop at www.scouts.org.uk/shop. Where there is more than one new member looking to purchase uniform, we may, as a group, be able to order this on your behalf to share the postage costs – please contact us if interested.

We recommend that you obtain a larger size uniform sweatshirt/shirt than you normally would to allow it to fit throughout your child’s time in their section. Our group neckerchief is supplied by us at a cost of £3.50, as well as all the badges your child will need; however any replacements will have to be paid for.

For investment into 1st Toton (normally into Beavers), the cost will be £15 which will include the activity t-shirt, necker and core membership badges. When the young person grows out of their polo shirt, parents can purchase them from TGR’s online store which offers a click&collect service.

Group Polo Shirt – All Sections:

The Scout Shops will offer a Beaver/Cub/Scout polo shirt priced at £12, however at 1st Toton, we have our own supplier of Group Polo Shirts priced at £10. These can be worn underneath the official sweatshirt/shirt and will be used during activities when our smart , uniformed attire is not necessary. Group polo shirts are the same design for all sections so your child will only need a new one when they grow out of it.

  • For safeguarding reasons, child polo shirts will not have the name printing option. Only our adult leaders and helpers will have their name embroidered under the logo.
