Zoom Badge Ceremony

This week, our Beavers, Cubs and Scouts took part in a virtual badge ceremony. As a Group, we have awarded 550 badges that our young people have earned over the lockdown period. Some of these were achieved through County and local ‘Scouting at Home’ initiatives, others were earned by attending our weekly Zoom sessions. We’re going to be very busy over summer posting the actual badges through everyone’s front doors!

Our Beaver Colony and Cub Pack also said farewell to some of its existing members who are moving on to Cubs and Scouts. We put together a little video to make their moving up ceremony as special as we always make it when meeting face-to-face. Take a look.

THANK YOU to all our fantastic volunteers for keeping Scouting ‘alive’ during lockdown. Also a HUGE THANK YOU to our parents/carers who quickly adopted the role of honorary scout leaders whilst scouting at home. Our community has never felt so connected!
