The first of many sleepovers!

For the first time in 5 years, Beavers from across South West Nottingham journeyed to Conkers Activity Centre for an exciting weekend full of activities and sleep-over (whether much sleeping happened is another question). There was over 200 beavers in one place which is an amazing feat in itself and from the stories they’ve shared, they thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

Conkers is an award-winning attraction at the heart of the National Forest, with over 120 acres of adventure with indoor and outdoor play and over 100 interactive exhibits. The Beaver Scouts were able to explore underground warrens, fairy labyrinths and mazes; follow trails through the woods and amongst the trees; ride the train; follow the barefoot walk; climb the sky viewing tower; discover the wildlife; explore the discovery centre; view a 4D film and play on the numerous play parks including the Enchanted Forest and adventure play area.

It was FANTASTIC! We’re already planning our next action packed sleepover!
